Michael is a Gulf Coast Native whose legal career has centered around Corporate & Consumer Bankruptcy and Commercial issues. Whether supporting Debtors or Creditors, he focuses on finding practical solutions for his clients through litigation in Federal and State Courts, out-of-court workouts, and business negotiations. Michael’s approach is straightforward and client-focused, ensuring that his clients' needs and concerns are always the top priority.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he received the Dean Thomas W. Christopher Award for outstanding service. During his time there, he served as Chief Justice of the Honor Council and a Law School Ambassador. He also earned his undergraduate degree from the Capstone graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors.

He is actively involved in the Panama City community where currently serves as Commodore of the St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club and is a member of the FSU PC Development Board executive committee. He also played a significant role in cultivating the 14th Judicial Circuit's Therapeutic Justice and Veterans Court during his time serving as Public Defender for the 14th Judicial Circuit.

Michael lives in Panama City, FL, with his wife Erin and their daughter Holly. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys life on the water and all the hobbies that come with it. He also has a passion for cooking that usually keeps his family and neighbors well fed.
